The NZ Ministry of Health provide a very helpful and informative website addressing the issues of depression. A sub-tile for the website is, "understanding more about depression will help you find a way through."
Ex-All Black, John Kirwan features on the home page and his 'self test' is there for users. Top level pages on the site are: - is this depression? - what can cause it? - finding a way through - stay well - helping others The home page is accessible here: http://www.depression.org.nz/content/home A depression helpline 0800 111 757 is available for users. A particularly helpful part of the website is its comprehensive Depression Resources offered in addition to the excellent website content itself. These consist of: fact sheets | booklets | online resources. Margaret I Enjoy Working with Groups I am available to work with groups seeking assistance around a number of issues.
